At FemUNITY (“we,” “us” or “our”), we value your privacy. This privacy policy describes our collection of personal information from users of the femunity.org Website (the “Site” or “femunity.org”), as well as our use and disclosure of that information. By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of personal information in accordance with this policy. By using the Site, you also agree to be bound by the Terms of Use as set forth HERE.

BY USING OUR SITE OR SERVICES OR SUBMITTING PERSONAL INFORMATION THROUGH OUR SITE OR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT AND YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ACCORDING TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT. Our mission is to provide a supportive online community for women to document and share health and medical experiences. We do this by designating eleven main forum topics, on any of which users may post and discuss their experiences, while also inviting users to contact us if they have another topic they would like to see represented on the Site. Users may create a free account on the Site, but may also read others’ posts and create their own posts without being a member; to post, users can choose one of three sign-in options. Users can sign in as a guest; with this feature you (user) do not have the option to remain anonymous; guest users must provide a name and email address before posting. Users can also sign in using their previously registered free account on the Site; with this status, users can remain anonymous while posting and conversing on the Site. Information that may be captured during the sign-up process can include name, e-mail address, home address, cell phone number, and other semi-identifying demographic information such as gender and age that may be helpful for FemUnity to capture for optimization or marketing purposes.
